Give
hope, leave a mark in a child’s life
Clinton
is eight. He lived in the Lake Basin province of Kenya. When his parents died of HIV/AIDS, Clinton and his sisters
were left under the care of their elderly grandmother. The pressure and
stress at home made Clinton leave school to help his grandmother look for
food. Bishop Ogutu found him, unwashed, tired, hungry and begging for food
with a sick grandmother at home. The bishop brought him to Kariobangi
Children orphanage. Here Clinton has a shelter over his head, food and a
chance to go to school. “I had
lost all hope when Bishop found me. I’m happy now that I have a place to
call home and I no longer go hungry,” says Clinton.
No
one can deny that children should have the joy of a loving home.
Kariobangi Children Orphanage meets this need by offering shelter, food,
medical care, education and much needed counseling to children orphaned by
HIV/AIDS.
US
$1,825 per month will assist in providing for these needs for the 75
orphans at Kariobangi.
The
orphans need your help. Your donation today will make a big difference.
Use the Donations button above to make your
donation. Please make a note that this is for the Kariobangi. Thank you! |

With just US $30…YOU can change a life
Millicent’s face breaks into a big smile as she
joins in song and dance. Millicent comes from Mathare Valley slum. Except
for this one time, Millicent has never stepped out of the poverty-stricken
slum. She’s grateful that YOU sacrificed your money for her to be here
at Lukenya Youth Camp.
Over 100 other kids from slums and orphanages are
with Millicent in Youth Camps through CMA sponsorships. Here, their lives
are changed. They get a chance to study the Bible, know Christ, make new
friends and enjoy their childhood – what they miss most in their slum
environment.
More children need to be reached and CMA is doing
just that. Once again we will be sponsoring more of the poor children to
Youth Camps. Be our partner this Winter.
Sponsor a child and together let’s change a life.
US $30 (Canadian $32)
will buy one child a blanket, a hygiene package and provide one week
accommodation at a Youth Camp.
Use the Donations button above to make your
donation. Please make a note that this is for the Youth Camp/ Thank you! |
Recently, we received an e-mail from the mother of
a seven year old girl who had a burden in her heart to help the children in
Africa. She had saved her allowance money and wanted to use it to help
kids in Africa. Her father was concerned that with many Mission Organization, a
large portion of the money goes to administrative costs and "red
tape". CMA Director, Larry Kitchel took the time to write back to
her, and we think anyone who is considering a donation to CMA might be
interested in his response. Click
Here to read the e-mail, along with Larry's response:
