CMA recognizes that children are the future leaders of tomorrow, and  are often the most vulnerable group in society; especially those children from traumatized or disadvantaged families. CMA provides health services, educational services, and parental care to many such children in order to meet their physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional needs.

Some children were brought to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them. The disciples told them not to bother him. But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:13-14

Mathare Rescue Center:
The Mathare Rescue Center is located deep in the sprawling Mathare slum in Nairobi, Kenya.  It is one of the worst slum in Africa. It is a maze of low, rusted iron- sheeting roofs with mud walls and open gutters of sewage running throughout.
Every day,  over 1,500 kids receive a balanced meal, the only meal they will have for a day. They also receive a basic education. Mathare Rescue Center is also home to 80 orphans.

Kuwinda Slum Nursery School:

Kuwinda is a small slum on the outskirts of Nairobi. It is the place where God called Pastor Jackson Thiru- who has ministered there for many years- starting with a small Church. The Kuwinda slum nursery school operates from this Church and provides basic education for some of the slum's littlest residents. Resigned to a life more survived than lived, the eyes of these children reflect years of struggle and an understanding about life that many adults couldn’t handle.

Daylove Children's Project:

For 7 years, the Daylove  ministry has been caring for the poor and neglected children in the Dagoretti area. The school started with a handful of children who were fed and taught the word of God once a week. Due to neglect at home, the children always came to school very dirty, so they were also taught how to bathe and wash their clothes in the afternoon. With the help of Compassion Canada, the Daylove ministry takes in 100 little children below 7 years, and provides them with food and an education every year.
